But Where Could It Be? 
It's the Brookings Marathon in South Dakota!That's right! Kim and I decided to do the Brookings Marathon in South Dakota on May 12, 2007 (click here to go to the offical webpage). This one sounds like fun and bills itself as having all the amenities of a larger race without the crowds. It has to be true since they cap the number of runners at 300.
All the reviews I read on marathonguide.com rank this event at 5 stars. Can't get any better than that.
